Dr. Collins seems very knowledgeable about high cholesterol issues as a specialist. She gave helpful advice for lowering my cholesterol along with medication. She was answered questions that my husband and I had as well as being open to receiving information that we shared from other sources. She ordered a few tests to be done to be sure certain conditions can be ruled out if necessary instead of just prescribing a statin and sending me on my way. Dr. Collins is truly one of the most patient and personable doctors I’ve had. She listens carefully, never rushes, and genuinely cares about her patients. What I appreciate most is that she works with me to find the right treatment, especially considering my multiple allergies and sensitivities. Loved how she started the visit — Tell me what you want me to know. Subsequently Dr. Collins asked probing questions and then proceeded to educate me and identified holistic solutions to improve heart health before moving to medication as an option. Additionally defined clear follow-up steps. Loved my visit with Dr. Collins!
